About this event
Orange I (Recommended Ages 8-10) - introduces players to the next stage of development with a focus on foundational technique, movement, and rallying. Players train 1–2 times per week and work on athletic skills like overhand throwing, split steps, and balanced movement in all directions. Technically, players develop proper grips, serve mechanics, and racket positioning for forehands and backhands. They begin rallying with a coach or partner, practice zone-based hitting, and play to 7 points using drop feeds. The program also emphasizes respect, teamwork, and personal responsibility, with monthly opportunities to compete in USTA or team events.
