About this event
Red II (Recommended Ages 6-8) is designed for players building on foundational skills and beginning to apply technique in game-based situations. Athletes train 1–2 times per week, with a focus on directional throwing, split-step timing, and multi-directional movement. Players develop forehand, backhand, serve, and volley skills using proper grips, while improving ball control and rally consistency. Tactical emphasis includes serve and return play, scoring to 4 games, and purposeful shot placement during rallies. Character development centers on listening, respect, teamwork, and a growing sense of community, with players encouraged to compete in one USTA or team event each month.
