King's Court

About this event

Multi-Court Ladder (King's Court)

This is a round-by-round social and competitive group format where players move up or down ranked courts.

The Setup: Courts are numbered from top to bottom (e.g., Court 1 is the King's Court down to Court 4, 5, or 6 as the entry court). Each court has 4 players playing doubles (2 teams of 2). [ 1 ]

Partner Rotation: You get a new partner every round or game.

Movement Between Courts: The winning duo/players move up one court toward the King's Court (Court 1).

The losing duo/players move down one court toward the entry court.

Splitting on Courts: When you move up or down, partners split up so you mix with new players each time.

Scoring / Time: Games are typically played to a set score (such as 11 points) or run on a short timer (such as 10 to 12 minutes per round), and the highest score or winner at the buzzer determines who moves.

The Goal: Accumulate wins or hold your ground on Court 1 to be crowned the King's of the Court.
