3 and Me w/ Coach Keagan: Pickleball Strategy for Beginners

About this event

3 & Me: Pickleball Strategy for Beginners

New to pickleball and feeling like everyone else knows a secret playbook you never got? This class is here to hand you that playbook. It's less about hitting harder and more about understanding why you do what you do on the court—so you stop guessing and start playing with a plan.

We'll break down the fundamentals that win beginner games: why getting to the kitchen line matters, when to let a ball bounce versus take it out of the air, keeping the ball low so your opponents can't attack, and the simple shot choices that keep you out of trouble. You'll also learn the basics of playing as a team—where to stand, how to move with your partner, and communicating so you're not both chasing the same ball.

Expect a friendly, low-pressure pace with plenty of reps and clear explanations. No fancy terms without plain-English translations, and lots of room to ask questions.

Great for players who know how to keep a rally going but want to understand the strategy behind winning points. Leave with a handful of simple, repeatable habits that instantly make you a smarter player.
