FREE Pickleball 101 Class

About this event

Never picked up a paddle? Perfect—this free class is where you start. We'll take you from "what's a kitchen?" to playing your first points, no experience or equipment knowledge required. Just show up ready to have fun.

We'll cover the absolute essentials: how the court is laid out, the basic rules (serving, scoring, and that mysterious kitchen line), and the core shots you need to get a rally going—the serve, the return, and a simple dink. We'll keep the explanations plain and the pace relaxed, with plenty of time to actually hit balls and get comfortable.

Expect a friendly, low-pressure vibe where questions are welcome and nobody's keeping score of your mistakes. By the end, you'll know enough to jump into open play or a beginner session and hold your own.

Great for total beginners, the curious, and anyone who's watched from the sidelines and finally wants in.

Grab a friend and sign up together—this class needs at least 2 participants to run, so bring someone along and learn the game side by side!
