Prerequisites:

This is the ideal next step after an Introduction to Pickleball . Players are expected to know the rules of the game, how scoring works, and basic court positioning .

Perfect for 2.5-rated players looking to build the skills, mindset, and strategies to reach 3.0.

What You'll Learn

Week 1:

🎾 Kitchen Dynamics & Paddle Control

Build your foundation at the net. Master dink mechanics, soft-hand volleys, lateral footwork without crossing feet, and patience at the kitchen line to control rallies with confidence.

Week 2:

🎯 3rd Shot Drops & Transition Zone

Learn to make your way from the baseline back "home" to the kitchen. Master drop mechanics, shot quality recognition, and advancing step-by-step through transition with soft resets.

- Neutralizing the Opponent

Week 3:

🚀 Serve, Return & Point Setup

Hit with purpose. Improve consistency, depth control, and placement on your serves and returns, while establishing proper positioning as you make the sprint to the NVZ line.

Week 4:

🔥 Power Game: Drives, Blocks & Overheads

Finish strong by learning when and how to apply pace. Master 3rd shot drives, backhand ready positioning, absorbing opponent power with solid blocks, and closing out points at the net.
