About this event
HPC WEEKEND WARRIOR PADDLE LEAGUE (WWPL) SEASON 16 WWPL was started in 2011 by members of the Salt Creek Club (SCC), Hinsdale Golf Club (HGC) and Hinsdale Platform Tennis Association (now Hinsdale Paddle Club, HPC) as a way to bring together members of Hinsdale-area clubs and to grow the sport and skills of players in the area. Over those 15 seasons, we have seen a considerable growth of our sport with platform tennis facilities at 10 local clubs. So, it’s time for a change.
This season of Warriors will be broken into two parts, with individual arranged matches in the Fall Session (similar to our Spring and Summer sessions), followed by team matches in Winter (January & February) ending in a Team Championships event on March 6. All matches will be played at KLM on Saturday afternoons starting at 11:00, 1:00 and 3:00. Weekly signup will request availability with pairings to be determined by Thursday. NOTE: Participation will be limited to HPC members.
Similar to HPC Spring and Summer Paddle. We will look to set up competitive matches for all participating. Fall Session (6 matches; November 7, 14 & 21 and December 5, 12 & 19; no matches on Halloween or
Thanksgiving) – SIGN UP NOW! Only $25.
Winter Session (9 matches including Playoffs and Finals Celebration) – additional details and information to be announced. Cost for that session will be $75, and you may register for that now as well.
To register for the Fall Session, go to Events-> League Signup -> Weekend Warriors Paddle…
