IPC East Men's League Provided by Tyrol Shoes Rules and Format
The IPC East Men's League Provided by Tyrol Shoes is a weekly round robin style league designed to create competitive, balanced, and flexible play for men at IPC East.
Players register individually each week through CourtReserve. Players are grouped by current league ranking and skill level, and rankings are adjusted weekly based on match results.
Initial Placement
At the start of the league, players will be placed into groups based on known skill level, DUPR rating, IPC verified rating, prior league history, or staff assessment.
IPC may adjust initial placements as needed to create fair and competitive groups.
Weekly Group Format
Each week, players will be assigned to groups of four whenever possible.
No Shows
A No Show is a player who is scheduled to compete but does not participate.
Any No Show will be recorded as finishing last in their assigned group for that session.
Repeated No Shows may affect a player’s ability to register for future league sessions.
Inactive Players
An inactive player is a player who is not registered or not participating in a given league session.
Inactive players cannot move up in the rankings while inactive.
Inactive players may move down if active players below them earn upward movement.
This rule rewards participation and protects active players from being passed by players who are not currently competing.
