About this event

50+ Mixed Doubles League Power By USSP & HUMANA - Season 6

A brand new Sunday afternoon league. Lock in your mixed doubles partner for a 6-week season of round robin play, a brand new MLP Team Day, and a playoff finale.

🔥 How It Works

Register with a mixed doubles partner (you keep the same partner all season)

Open to players 50 and up

Sunday afternoons, 4:00 to 6:00 PM

8 pairs, 6 weeks. Space is limited

Weeks 1, 2, 4 and 5: round robin, 5 to 6 rounds of doubles each week (games to 11, win by 2, or a 13-minute cap, with a 4-minute break)

Week 3 (Nov 22): MLP Team Day. The 8 pairs form two teams of four pairs and play women's doubles, men's doubles and mixed doubles. Only day that goes 4-7pm

Round robin counts for 80% of your points, MLP Team Day for 20%. Your total sets your seed for the playoffs

Week 6 (Dec 13): playoffs and awards. Nobody is eliminated, every pair plays all the way to a final ranking

Calendar: Nov 8, 15, 22, 29 and Dec 6, 13
