About this event
Our Intro to Pickleball is the perfect way to try the game!
In this 1-hour session, you’ll learn the basics — including scoring and serving — in a fun, welcoming environment. No experience needed. Paddles and balls are provided — just wear sneakers or court shoes with non-marking soles.
This class is a great pre-cursor to our highly recommended Pickleball 101, a 4-Part Beginner Series , where you’ll build skills and confidence even faster. Prefer to dive right in? You’re absolutely welcome to register directly for Pickleball 101 — this Intro is not required.
Bring a friend! You’ll make new connections here, but jumping into something new is always more fun together.
Please plan to arrive 15 minutes prior to your start time. To make check-in quick and seamless, download the CourtReserve app in advance, set up your NYPC account, and complete your waiver.
