Social Drop-In Tournament

About this event

It’s Friday night. Come play pickleball and make new friends. Part of the Social Friday Night series alongside the Drop-in Mini MiLP and our Royalty of the Court.

This is the Friday night version of a real tournament: pools, brackets, and gold, silver and bronze in every division. You’ll partner with four different people before the night is over.

Sign up solo. No partner, app, or account required beyond CourtReserve. Bring a paddle and we’ll handle the rest.

DIVISIONS: We split the 36 players into three divisions of 12 by DUPR or estimated rating: Premier, Challenger and Futures. You only play people in your own division.

POOLS: Each division plays three pools of four. Three games, and you partner each poolmate once. Scoring is individual, so your wins and point differential belong to you.

BRACKET PARTNERS: After pools we rank all 12 players in your division by wins, then point differential, then points scored. First pairs with 12th, 2nd with 11th, down to 6th with 7th. Six balanced teams.

BRACKET: Single elimination, one game per match. The top two seeds get a bye to the semifinals. The final and bronze match are best of three.

That’s four games minimum. Most people play more.

SCORING : Games to 11, win by 2, side-out scoring, hard cap at 13. At 12-12, the next point wins.

RATINGS : DUPR or estimated rating is used only to set divisions and seed pools. Not rated? Give us your best guess. Nothing from this event is reported to DUPR.

OPEN PLAY: Out of your bracket? Stay for open…
