*NEW* Practice and Play - Low Intermediate (3.0-3.5)

About this event

In this edition of open play Chip's provides 3 baskets of balls to practice! Courts 7, 8, & 9 will be designated practice courts. Please switch in and out of the practice court at reasonable intervals!

Level 3 // Low Intermediate

The Low Intermediate level is perfect for players looking to elevate their game alongside others with a solid amount of on-court experience. This category represents the largest group of players, making up over one-third of our participants. Some players enjoy a lifetime of pickleball at this level, while others use it as a stepping stone towards more competitive play.

Low Intermediate players should have a good amount of experience and focus on minimizing errors, improving ball placement, and refining court positioning. This level offers a lot of fun, with frequent long rallies and a variety of shot types on display.

How it works

A challenge court is a designated open play court designed for continuous, competitive play. After each game, the winning team stays on the challenge court and the losing team rotates off, with two new players stepping in to challenge the winners. This format keeps games moving, encourages competitive matchups among similar skill levels, and adds a fun “win and stay” element to open play.

Sign up as an individual and mix in with the other registrants. More players will be registered than we have capacity for on the courts, so players will take turns sitting out.
