How It Works

*All matches are played first to 11 points, unless otherwise instructed by the Pickleplex team.

1 Court (5-Player Rotation)

With 5 players, one player rotates out and sits after each game.

2 or More Courts

* The Bucket System (Rotation): We use a two-bucket system (Winners and Runners-Up) to keep games moving fairly. Simply place your paddle in the appropriate bucket after your match. A marker will indicate which group is next in line; once a court opens, the marker moves to the other bucket to ensure everyone gets a turn.

Pro Tip: We highly encourage mixing it up! Open play is the perfect time to partner with someone new and grow our pickleball community.

* The Challenge Court (Optional): When the "Challenge Court" is active, winning duos may stay together for up to 4 consecutive games. To keep things competitive, a "Handicap System" applies:

Game 2: The challengers start with a 2-point lead.

Game 3: The challengers start with a 4-point lead.

Game 4: The challengers start with a 6-point lead.
