Novice Social Open Play (2.5 - 2.99)

About this event

Beginner/Novice Open Play (2.5 - 2.99)

This Beginner/Novice Open Play session is designed to be welcoming, relaxed, and easy to follow. The focus is on learning through play, meeting other players, and getting plenty of court time in a supportive environment.

How it works:

Players place their paddles in the rotation to join the next available game

Games are played at a comfortable pace, with learning and enjoyment as the priority

When a game ends, paddles are placed into two buckets:

Champion Bucket 🏆 for the winning team

Challenger Bucket 🔄 for the non-winning team

To keep things fair and mixed, players alternate between buckets :

If the paddles was drawn from the Champion Bucket for your last game, your next paddle draw will come from the Challenger Bucket

If the paddles was drawn from the Challenger Bucket, your next game will be drawn from the Champion Bucket

💡 Do not forget to move the “Up Next” sign from one bucket to another to show who is on court next to keep rotations fair!

This alternating system ensures everyone gets balanced play time, rotates through different partners, and enjoys a smooth, low-pressure experience while building confidence on the court.

Be prepared to have fun and be social!
