About this event

Pickleball 101: Intro to Pickleball (Free)

Ready to join the fastest-growing sport in the world? If you have never picked up a paddle—or if you have played a few times but want to truly understand the game—this is the perfect starting point for you.

Our Pickleball 101 clinic is a welcoming, low-pressure introduction designed specifically for absolute beginners. We supply the paddles and the balls; you just bring your sneakers and a positive attitude!

What You Will Learn:

The Fundamentals: Master the correct paddle grip, ready position, and basic footwork.

Essential Shots: Practice the basic mechanics of a legal serve, the return of serve, and the "dink" (the soft game).

The Rules & Scoring: Demystify the unique rules of pickleball, including the two-bounce rule, kitchen boundaries, and how to navigate the three-number scoring system.

Game Play: Put your new skills to the test with fun, low-stress practice rallies and mini-games alongside fellow beginners.

Who This Is For:

Complete beginners with zero racket or paddle sport experience.

Casual players who want to learn the formal rules and correct techniques before jumping into open play.
