Pickleball for Beginners: Intro to Pickleball Clinic - Pickleball 101

About this event

Pickleball 101: Your First Clinic with Coach Andy

Limited to 8 players. No experience needed.

Never played? Played once at a friend’s and had no idea what was going on? Start here. In one session, Coach Andy takes you from picking up a paddle to playing real points, with plenty of help along the way.

Here’s the plan

Get moving. A light warm-up and simple drills to get comfortable with the paddle and ball.

Learn the core shots. How to hold the paddle, serve, return, volley, and dink, broken down one at a time.

Understand the game. How scoring works, what the kitchen is, and the story of how pickleball got started.

Play it out. Short games with Andy right there giving tips as you go.

Along the way

You’ll trade partners throughout so you meet everyone, get pointers on where to stand and how to team up, and have time to ask anything at all. No question is too basic.

Why start with a clinic?

Learning the right habits from the beginning is much easier than fixing bad ones later. You’ll leave knowing how to play, feeling ready to join a game, and probably with a few new friends.

Already know the basics? Move up to Pickleball 102.
