About this event

Learn to Play Pickleball: A 3-Week Clinic Series

New to pickleball? Learn the fundamentals, build confidence, and get ready to enjoy the game! Join us once a week on Wednesdays for 3 weeks in 90 minutes of guided instruction, practice, and coached play. This new player series takes you from your first swing to putting your skills into action on the court.

Week 1: The Basics

Learn the rules and scoring, develop a comfortable grip and ready stance, and practice forehand and backhand fundamentals as you get familiar with the court.

Week 2: Serve, Return, and Rally

Build a consistent serve, practice effective returns, and learn to sustain rallies with control. Improve your footwork and movement so you can get into position for your next shot.

Week 3: The Kitchen & Putting It All Together

Explore dinking, volley basics, and positioning at the kitchen while learning to avoid common mistakes. Then bring your skills together in coached games covering doubles positioning, shot selection, and basic strategy.

By the end of the series, you’ll have a foundation for joining games and continuing to develop your skills!
