Jr Academy Beginner Lessons MONDAYS 4-6pm Oct-Dec

About this event

Jr. Academy Lessons: Monday 4pm-6pm 7 weeks. Oct 26-Dec 7

Pickleball Learning

This is a league for kids 10-18 who are interested in learning how to play pickleball. This is an adult-led learning series that will help your child improve their pickleball skills from serving and receiving, to drops and drives, to sustained dinking rallies and everything in between. Each week a new skill will be demonstrated and practiced with coaching. There will also be time dedicated to live play with in-the-moment coaching. The instructor will spend roughly 30 minutes on the skill/lesson portion and 90 minutes of coached games play. By the end of the 7 weeks, you should see clear improvement in your child's pickleball skill level.

Coach Dylan Thatcher is a pickleball addict himself and can be seen playing in several local leagues and open play events. He is an instructor for both adults and youth. He has both the patience and the skill to help elevate players to their next level.

What to Expect:

Skill Development: Players will have the chance to improve their game through demonstration and coaching followed by coached play.

Meet New Friends: This is a great place for kids to meet other kids who play pickleball.

Adult-Lead: The league will be led by an adult and experienced pickleball instructor (if classes are large enough we will bring in assistants; some may be teenagers)

Whether your child is looking to refine their pickleball skills or meet new friends, this league is a great way to stay…
