Open Play Rules for Bozeman Classic Pickleball Club

Team and Partner Rotation:

Frequent Partner Changes :

Players are encouraged to change partners every game. This helps everyone meet new people and keeps the matches varied.

No Fixed Pairings :

Avoid setting permanent teams during open play. The goal is to keep the experience dynamic and inclusive.

Busy Times Consideration :

Maximize Court Usage :

If all courts are full and there’s a wait, keep games moving by limiting the number of consecutive games a player can play to 2 games before rejoining the line.

Court Allocation :

Designated Open Play Courts :

Certain courts are set aside specifically for open play during designated hours. Players are free to join the line and rotate in.

Player Etiquette :

Be Ready When It’s Your Turn : Pay attention to the line, and be ready to step onto the court when the previous game finishes.

Play Fair, Be Inclusive : Welcome new players into games, and focus on creating an enjoyable experience for everyone.
