Pickleball 102: Beyond the Basics & Intro to Open Play

About this event

You've learned how to serve, keep score, and when to stay out of the kitchen in Pickleball 101. Now what? Pickleball 102 is designed for players who know the basics but don't quite feel ready to walk up to the paddle rack and jump into a game with strangers. This clinic bridges that gap.

Over a series of coached sessions, you'll sharpen the skills that make open play fun instead of stressful: the third-shot drop, confident volleys, resetting fast balls, and moving as a team with your partner. You'll play real points in a supportive small-group setting, with coaches offering tips as you go.

Then comes the best part. In our guided open play sessions, you'll join a real open play format with a coach on-site to help you navigate it all, from how the paddle rotation works to calling lines, introducing yourself, and playing with partners of different levels.

By the end, open play won't feel like the deep end. It'll feel like your next game.

Who it's for: Players who have completed a 101 clinic or already know the rules and basic strokes.

What you'll leave with: Stronger skills, a solid understanding of doubles strategy, open play know-how, and a group of fellow players to rally with.
