Take your game beyond simply executing shots and start understanding why you’re hitting them.

David Belew’s Advanced Strategy Training Academy is designed for experienced players looking to improve their decision-making, court awareness, and overall pickleball IQ. These 90-minute sessions will focus less on basic mechanics and more on understanding the strategy behind winning points.

What We’ll Work On

Partner Strategy & Communication – Moving and making decisions together as a team

Court Placement & Awareness – Recognizing where you, your partner, and your opponents are positioned

“The Why, Not the How” – Understanding why a certain shot or decision makes sense in a particular situation

Setting Up the Next Shot – Using placement, pace, and patterns to create opportunities instead of simply trying to hit winners

Point Construction – Learning how to build a point from the serve and return through the transition zone and kitchen

Shot Selection & Decision-Making – Knowing when to attack, reset, speed up, defend, or stay patient

Partner & Opponent Tendencies – Identifying strengths, weaknesses, and patterns during play

Situational Strategy – Working through real-game scenarios and learning how to make better decisions under pressure

Training Academy with David Belew - Strategy (3.75+) is a program hosted by TapNPaddles in Wichita, Kansas. The venue is at 4956 E 35th St N, Wichita, Kansas 67220.
