Sunday Night Open Play [All Levels]

About this event

🪜 All LEVELS OPEN PLAY 🪜

Open to everyone! We encourage experienced players to share their knowledge and beginners to bring their energy.

Whether you’re a "banger," a "dinker," or someone who just bought their first paddle this morning, come join us for some social, round-robin style play! Our Open Play sessions are designed to foster a fun, inclusive environment where everyone gets time on the court.

🧭 PLAY TO THE LEVEL 🧭

If you’re a high-level player matched with beginners, use it as an opportunity to practice your soft game rather than smashing every return. It keeps the rally going and makes it fun for everyone.

💰 PRIME TIME COST 💰

Admiral: FREE

Captain: $6

Beachcomber: $12

Stowaway: $12

🔁 OPEN PLAY ROTATION 🔁

To begin: Find an open court and partner up! If all the courts are taken, add your paddle to the first available slot to the right of any slotted paddles on the NextUp paddle rack. If you're the first player to wait, place your paddle at the leftmost slot. Follow the court rotation system described below.

Court Rotation

When six or more players are waiting, the cycle is “four on, four off,” with all players exiting after the game.

The most important rule is: do not move paddles once they are slotted — only move the NextUp marker.

When a game ends, all four players come off the court. Players put their paddles on the left side of the rack, starting with the next available slot to the right of any existing paddles.
