Beginner Jazz is a fun, upbeat dance class where young dancers build confidence, coordination, rhythm, and musicality while learning the basics of jazz dance.

Students will practice age-appropriate jazz technique, including warm-ups, stretching, across-the-floor movements, beginning turns, kicks, leaps, and easy-to-follow combinations set to energetic music. This class helps children develop body awareness, balance, flexibility, memory, and performance confidence in a positive and encouraging environment.

Dancers will learn how to follow choreography, move with the music, express themselves through dance, and work toward simple jazz combinations appropriate for their age and experience level.

No previous dance experience is required. Students should come ready to move, learn, and have fun!

Great for: Kids who enjoy music, movement, expressive dance, and building confidence on the dance floor.
