TGIF: Piranha Open Play (3.25 -> 3.75)

About this event

🪜 OPEN PLAY LEVEL 🪜

PIRANHA (DUPR 3.25 - 3.75)

A Piranha player shows consistent control and tactical awareness. They can execute reliable serves, returns, dinks, and third shot drops with moderate precision. Volleys and net play are confident, and they anticipate well during rallies. In doubles, they communicate effectively, move as a unit, and adjust strategy based on opponents. Focus areas include refining shot placement, increasing pace control mastering transitions.

⏰ THREE-HOUR OPEN PLAY ⏰

This Open Play has special pricing because it lasts three hours.

🔁 OPEN PLAY ROTATION 🔁

To begin: Find an open court and partner up! If all the courts are taken, add your paddle to the first available slot to the right of any slotted paddles on the NextUp paddle rack. If you're the first player to wait, place your paddle at the leftmost slot. Follow the court rotation system described below.

Court Rotation

When six or more players are waiting, the cycle is “four on, four off,” with all players exiting after the game.

The most important rule is: do not move paddles once they are slotted — only move the NextUp marker.

When a game ends, all four players come off the court. Players put their paddles on the left side of the rack, starting with the next available slot to the right of any existing paddles. If there are no slots to the right, wrap around to the left side (like a typewriter return).

When a court becomes available, you'll draw the next four paddles from the rack.
