📖 Program Overview

JR ACDMY — FOUNDATIONS Level 1 -> Level 2

Ages 8–12 · For new or inexperienced junior pickleball players

FOUNDATIONS is where it starts. Players learn the game from the ground up — how to serve, how to rally, how scoring works — in a group where nobody's expected to be a pro and everybody's learning together. Our experienced pro coaches keep the energy high, the drills varied, and everyone on court and hitting. This is about fun and instilling a love for the sport.

Over 10 weeks, players work on:

Rules, scoring, and where to stand

Serving and returning with confidence

Keeping a rally going

First steps at the kitchen line

Playing the PKLYN way — good sportsmanship, good teammates

Every session ends in live game play, so players are playing real points from the very first week. Partners rotate week to week, which means players get to know everyone in the group, learn to cheer on a teammate having a tough day, and pick up the habits that make them fun to play with for life.

A good fit for players who:

Are ages 8–12

Are new to pickleball or solidifying their footing

Want to learn somewhere supportive and low-pressure

Are excited to try something new and meet people

Love to play

No experience necessary — we'll hand them a paddle and go.

Ready for more? Many players spend two or three seasons here before moving up to Development, and that's exactly how it should be.
