About this event

Pickleball at RECS – An Ongoing, Regularly Scheduled Open Play Pickleball Game

Initial session on 4/28 is where we roll out our concept for how this will work, and we will adjust & adapt as we go. There are two courts reserved for starting on April 28th from 4-5 p.m. And it is recurring until July 7th. We can reassess as needed based on level of interest from Chamber members.

$9/hour per player. 10-12 players to start, 2 courts reserved, by invitation only at the first session since we are still figuring things out.

· Timed 12 min. games (Using RECS in-house timers). This way the games end at the same time and allow for a true "4 on 4 off" situation. Two game max so winners don't play forever, but we will mix and match a bit as the same people will be on the court at the same time. RECS says this usually solves itself with someone offering to sit out to mix it up.

· Encourage Court Reserve account sign-up: This will put a payment and a waiver on file for people, and they don't have to pull out their wallet (or sign a waiver) each time they play. This also sets us up for success because we don't want to manage sign-ups in the future if this takes off. They can sign-up on their own from a private Court Reserve member group that we create for your session.
