Skill Builder: Beyond the Basics (Intermediate-2 Hours)

This session builds on your foundation to strengthen doubles partnerships, improve court coverage, and make smarter decisions with intentional shot selection.

We’ll refine your serve-side transition to the Kitchen and improve return depth, height, and margin for error. You’ll begin to understand not just where to place the ball, but why certain choices create pressure, time, or opportunity.

We’ll also expand your skill set with attacking patterns and defensive resets—learning when to stay patient, apply pressure, or regain control. You’ll practice handling pace with confidence through block and punch volleys, overhead put-aways, and effective responses to lobs.

By the end, you’ll feel progress in movement, awareness, consistency, and teamwork. You’ll leave with a clearer understanding of intermediate play, growing confidence, and the motivation to keep leveling up—one smart choice, one solid rep, one rally at a time.

**Please be aware that if you sign-up and do not show, there will be a $10 charge. Since this class is free, and in high demand there is a No-Show Policy.

The No Call/ No-Show Policy is that if you do not give us any notice within 24 hours (as you can withdraw prior to 24hours before the class) and do not show up, you will be charged $10, and will be placed on a probationalry list for this class, so that if you do not no-call/no-show a second time you will not be allowed to continue to register for this class.
