The Gatorland Classic

About this event

Where the dinks are soft, the competition is questionable, and the gators are hungry.

Welcome to the Gator Land Classic , a pickleball event where winning is optional, having fun is mandatory, and no actual alligators will be permitted in the kitchen.

This isn’t a tournament. There are no brackets. There are no rankings. And there will be absolutely no arguments over whether your DUPR rating is accurate.

Instead, players will rotate through games, meet new opponents, and earn Gator Points throughout the event. Points aren't just awarded for winning—you might earn them for great shots, ridiculous shots, questionable strategy, longest rally, getting body-bagged, hitting the most dramatic ATP attempt, or whatever other nonsense the Gator Committee decides deserves recognition.

At the end of the event, one player will be crowned the Gator Land Classic Chompion and take home the ultimate Florida pickleball prize:

🐊 FREE TICKETS TO GATORLAND!

Possible bonus awards could include King/Queen of the Swamp for the best overall record, The Baby Gator Award for the newest player, The Swamp Thing Award for the sweatiest player, and the prestigious Should’ve Let It Go Award for the person who hits the most obviously-out balls.
