Pickleball 101

About this event

Pickleball 101

New to pickleball? This is where you start.

60 minutes coached plus play, indoors. No experience needed. Paddles are in your hands and you're moving within the first five minutes.

What we cover

Grip, ready position, and the rules that matter. The two-bounce rule and scoring in plain language, no jargon.

Dinking and the kitchen. The non-volley zone explained, then cooperative dinks straight on and cross-court. Control before power.

Serve and return. A drop serve you can repeat, and deep returns that get you to the kitchen.

Volleys. Punch volleys with your feet outside the kitchen, cutting off the high ball.

Coached games to 7. The last 15 minutes you play. Short games, live coaching on scoring and positioning, so you leave having actually played a real point .

What To Bring

Indoor court shoes and water. Paddles and balls are provided if you don't have your own.

What's next

After a 101 session, players will feed into Guided Open Play or a 4 Week Road to 2.5 Series.

Every Wednesday 5-6 pm and Saturdays and Sundays 9-10 am. Register early, spots are limited to keep the ratio small.
