About this event
🖐️ The Fives - Activation
Can You Take Down the Champ?
Welcome to The Fives , a fast-paced competitive clinic where every rally matters and every point gets you closer to earning the Champion spot.
One Court. One Pro. First to Five.
The Crush Yard Pro partners with the current Champion while two challengers step onto the opposite side to battle for the crown.
🔥 How It Works
🏟️ Start at the Baseline
Every rally begins with all four players at the baseline.
🎯 Attack the Kitchen
After the baseline exchange, the challengers move to the kitchen line and receive a fed volley.
🚦 Activate the Rally
The fed volley must land beyond the designated activation line on the champions' side. If the first feed doesn't clear the line, challengers receive one second-chance feed.
⚡ Play It Out
Once activated, the rally is live. The challenger team earns one point every time they win a rally.
🔄 Rotate & Reload
After each challenger team completes their rally, they rotate to the back of the line, allowing the next challengers to step in. If a challenger team reaches five points , they do not rotate—they become the new Champions.
👑 First to Five Wins the Throne
When a challenger team reaches five points , they have defeated the Champion.
The player who hits the winning shot on the final point becomes the new Champion and joins the Crush Yard Pro on the champions' side.
Their partner rotates to the back of the line, giving everyone a chance to earn the Champion position.
The new Champion starts at 0 defenses…
