About this event
Orange Ball Tennis Clinics | Ages 7–9
Pathway Junior Academy at ITP Training Academy
Our Orange Ball clinics help young players learn to rally, serve, and play points in a fun, encouraging, and supportive environment. Beginners and players with some experience are welcome.
Guided by USTA youth tennis principles and the American Development Model (ADM), we use slower-moving orange balls and a 60-foot court, with activities suited to each player’s development.
Through drills, partner rallies, and games, players build:
Tennis fundamentals: Forehands, backhands, volleys, serves, and returns.
Movement skills: Footwork, balance, and coordination.
Game skills: Rallying, strategy, scoring, and sportsmanship.
We emphasize effort, confidence, and enjoyment while preparing interested players for match play and introductory USTA competition when they’re ready.
