6-Court Open Play Format

Open play is organized using 4 paddle racks to help players find competitive and enjoyable games at their skill level.

Court 1 – Challenge Court

Winner stays on, split and rotate partners.

No limit to the number of consecutive games a player may stay on the Challenge Court.

Designed for players seeking the highest level of competition.

Court 2 – Advanced

For experienced players looking for fast-paced, competitive games.

Players rotate through the paddle rack after each game.

Courts 3 & 4 – Intermediate

Ideal for players with a solid understanding of strategy, shot selection, and court positioning.

Players rotate through the paddle rack after each game.

Courts 5 & 6 – Advanced Beginner / Beginner

Perfect for newer players or those developing consistency and confidence.

Focus on learning, improving, and having fun while playing with others at a similar skill level.

Social Open Play is a pickleball open play session hosted by 3rd Shot Pickleball Reno. It is listed as Regular Sessions ($15). The venue is at 6895 Sierra Center Parkway 89511.
