No Pressure Beginner Play

About this event

Pickleball Low-Key Beginner Open Play Night Relaxed courts, no rush, no judgment — just easy fun and first steps on the pickleball path. Come to the Intro to Pickleball Clinic and stay for some open play fun.

The vibe is pure encouragement. Welcome to Low-Key Beginner Open Play Night — the perfect, pressure-free evening session designed for anyone new to pickleball or still building confidence on the court. No rankings, no tryouts, no need to be “good yet.” Just come as you are and play at your own pace.

How it works (super relaxed format):

2–3 courts dedicated to true beginners (roughly 2.0–2.5 skill level or less)

Paddle-stack rotation: Place your paddle in the queue — when it’s your turn, you join the next open court (games to 7, win by 2, so everyone gets quick turns)

Short games keep things moving; no long waits — you’ll play often

Optional “buddy system” — pair up with a friend or rotate partners naturally

Volunteer helpers or experienced beginners on hand to answer questions, demo shots, or even jump in if a court needs balancing

Don't have a paddle yet? Don't worry you can use one of ours.
