Open Play 3.25+

About this event

Intermediate Open Play (DUPR 3.25+ Recommended)

This event is designed for intermediate-level players , generally around DUPR 3.25 and higher . While DUPR is not strictly required, this division is ideal for players who feel they are not yet ready for the Advanced Open Play (3.99+) group. Members and visitors are welcome to join.

How it works:

Games are played to 11 points, win by 2 .

We use a paddle stacking system with 4 bins (numbered 1–4) to keep rotations fair and organized.

Players place their paddles in the bins to show they are “next up.”

When a court opens, the next 4 paddles are pulled, and those players go in.

Rotation Rules:

If 4 new players are waiting , all 4 players who just finished must leave the court so the next group can rotate in.

If there are only 2 paddles waiting , the winners stay on the court for another game while the losing team rotates out.

Always place paddles in the bins in order and be mindful of the stacking system so that everyone gets fair playing time.

Additional Notes:

During peak hours, Intermediate Open Play usually has 6 courts available , so players can expect plenty of games and smooth rotations.

This event is best for those who are past the beginner stage and want a fun, social, and moderately competitive environment.

Please be respectful of rotation rules to ensure everyone has equal opportunities to play.

Staff may step in to help manage paddle stacking or court flow if needed.
