Pickleball Friday Night Open Play

About this event

One of the most important foundations of Pickleball is the ability for all the players regardless of their background, skill level and age to socialize and play together.

The idea of the Open Play is to allow as many players as possible to practice and learn from each other in a friendly and competitive environment.

To ensure that all players have a good time the below rules are to be followed during Open Play (this is an addition to Pickleball Etiquette as well as Court and Safety Rules that you are responsible for getting familiar with BEFORE you start playing)

TIP: Use the waiting time between games to socialize or catch up with fellow Pickleballers! It's a great time to stretch or get some hydration and snacks. Remember that while waiting you are in a prime spot to learn and improve.

OPEN PLAY - open to all skill levels

ROTATION RULES

If there are 7 or less people waiting => 2 UP & 2DOWN

After a game is finished winners stay on court and split, 2 new players join them

*If two players want to stay together, they may do so if other players agree After two consecutive wins, they either must split in order to stay on court for another game or leave the court and put their paddles together to wait for the next available slot.

If there are more than 7 players waiting=> 4 UP & 4 DOWN

After a game is finished all 4 players leave the court and next 4 in line players enter to play

Rotation Rules apply to all kinds of Open Play when there are players waiting.
