Third Shot Masterclass

About this event

Third Shot Masterclass: Drive & Drop!

For novice and intermediate players looking to master the most critical transition shots in pickleball

A great third shot dictates the entire point and gets your team safely to the kitchen line. The Third Shot Masterclass is designed for novice and intermediate players who want to build control, power, and confidence with both the third shot drop and the third shot drive.

In this 1-hour, on-court session, you’ll spend the first 30 minutes working with a Crush Yard Pro on shot mechanics—learning when to reset with a soft drop and when to attack with a controlled drive. Then, you’ll transition into 30 minutes of live play, applying both options in real-game scenarios with feedback from your instructor.

What to expect: ✅ Focused mechanics for soft drops and controlled drives

✅ Smart decision-making on when to play power vs. touch

✅ Targeted drills to build muscle memory and consistency

✅ Hands-on coaching to help you transition smoothly to the net

This class is perfect for players looking to stop giving up easy points on the serve return and take charge of the court early.

Paddles and balls are provided, or feel free to bring your own. Athletic shoes are required.
